Made more money, finished nursing school the 1st time I wanted to Enroll 10 years ago, bought a house in Cali instead of Vegas during the crash. But barring all that, pay attention so I wouldn't have fallen down those stairs, because my knee is permanently damaged.

I don't worry about "making it". I'm not trying to find myself anymore. I know exactly who I am and I make myself comfy as can be. No illusions and zero tolerance for dumb shyt (from others).

This is what I'm trying to get to. This right here

I am a 47 year-old recent cancer survivor. Here is what I wish I did in my 30s:

1. Invest in the stock market. If you are in it for the long term, it is the easiest market to learn.

2. Stop going to the club. I was never great at pulling women there, but it is almost effortless for me at art shows, lectures, and museum events. Besides, I enjoy those events more.

3. Stopped trying to look young. I wish I had developed a more mature style.

4. Stayed in great shape. I have moved between good shape and ok shape. I wish I would have had a better diet and workout routine throughout my thirties.

5. I should have started dating women in their 40s and a few 50 year olds during my thirties. I knew that I didn't want kids or to get married. I spent too much te dating women with baby fever. Besides, now that I am in my forties, I realize that there are a lot of fine older women.

6. I should have balanced my effort between solidifying new friendships and dating when I moved to a new city. I spent too much time chasing the skirt, as my old football coach used to say.

I’ll be 40 in July.

Normal shyt really, but I would’ve tried to pay my student loans earlier. It’s a whole nother level of embarrassment getting garnished with no end in sight brehs :mjcry:. I make enough to ride it out but it’s the principal of the shyt :aicmon:

And I would’ve gotten into stocks, contributed more to my 401k, and I kick myself for not paying attention to Bitcoin before it got ridiculously big :shaq2:

I turned 30 back in October wasted my entire 20s, I do got an associates in a good career field with a lots of mobility, but that's a out it. Being 30, it's pedal to the metal. Now or never, I'm feeling the pressure, but I understand I'm at the point where I ain't going crazy

Being proactive about your health how?

Following up with things I noticed with my health. I had my kids at 31 and 34, and after 2nd pregnancy started noticing some things with my health. I just shrugged them off, telling myself they'd eventually go back to normal or I was over thinking it.

41 is coming for me in August, and I'm just now admitting to myself the obvious - they are not going to magically get better unless I actively work on them.

If you're under 40, it would be wise to take health issues serious as soon as you notice them - no matter how slight - lest they develop into a full blown crisis. By then, you've lost control and are forced into a reactive role, which is not fun.

Biggest mistake i made was taking too long to learn the stock market. Once i understood it i started making money and not having so much cash idle. I was doing index funds and they are slow compared to individual stocks.

Focus on health. 30 minute workout a day and try to eat right.

I think a great relationship beats running around chasing hoes.. Just don't get married.

Good insight. I'm a few pennies shy of 37.

Managing my money and not taking calculated chances have been my biggest faults.
