Rose if healthy and his body holds up gotta feeling him and Melo show out tonight
Has Conley ever been the top option in Memphis?
I mean I'm reading all the replies here and there's this feeling like Rose has peaked and his injuries destroyed him...which it did...but at the same time...Conley is 29 coming off a bad injury. Is he somehow going to be better than he's been over the last 8 or 9 years??
Don't we already know who Mike Conley is??
The reason I say that is because none of them have really proven how can they can be coming back from their injuries. Even moreso Rose since he only played in 2 preseason games...Rose is gonna be battling Noah and his backup for #3?
You said he'd be fighting to be the #3 guy with Noah/Jennings , not fighting with Porzingis/Melo for #2The reason I say that is because none of them have really proven how can they can be coming back from their injuries. Even moreso Rose since he only played in 2 preseason games...
Keep in mind I dont watch the Bulls play so all I can go by is the few games I've seen and what the media says. I'm not gonna assume he's gonna take the 2 spot just because he used to be great 3 seasons ago. And as of right now he's clearly not the #1 or the #2... so what else could he be other than 3? Simple deductive reasoning.
You're a Bulls fan so maybe you have a clearer picture what he is and who he can become this season... but all Ive seen him be is good to mediocre. I'm not gonna make stuff up and create some false sense of hope.
You must have misread what I wrote. I still didnt say he would be fighting for #2. I didn't change anything, and I stand by that opinion. You said he'd be fighting to be the #3 guy with Noah/Jennings , not fighting with Porzingis/Melo for #2
You jus changed it up in this post
Until proven otherwise, Noah is one of the worst offensive starters in the leagueYou must have misread what I wrote. I still didnt say he would be fighting for #2. I didn't change anything, and I stand by that opinion.
Essentially what I'm saying is thay he's going to be fighting for #3 by default... because he's clearly not #1 or #2. If you said he's the clear #3, I would not argue against that point, but I just personally haven't seen enough of him to say that definitively, so I said he'd be "fighting" for it.
Honestly... Noah, even a step slower was already making a big difference in how the Knicks played in the preseason, on offense and defense. I saw Rose play 2 quarters, lol. What the hell opinion should I have of him based on that?
Did you mean to quote me? I didn't mention Conley.Has Conley ever been the top option in Memphis?

Maybe I quoted the wrong guy.Did you mean to quote me? I didn't mention Conley.
But they'll probably be on even ground or if not, Rose will have a better year. To be fair those Steve Nash was at his best at 30+ but he was the exception not the rule.
Last time Conley was healthy he was busting Lillard's ass in the playoffs. Then his face broke, then 9 days after surgery, he busted Curry's ass on his MVP night. Then Locked him up in game 3 before wearing down once the series became one-day off in-between.CONLEY IS THE DEFINITION OF AVERAGE.
nikka GOT TWO 30 PT GAMES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS.
IS THIS A JOKE?
ROSE CAN STILL DOMINATE GAMES POST 2 KNEE SURGERIES.
SAW THE DUDE GOING OFF IN THE PLAYOFFS 2 SEASONS AGO
DOING shyt CONLEY COULDNT DO IN ANY LIFETIME.
PLAYED WITH A BROKEN FACE LAST YEAR
AND WENT OFF ONCE HE GOT HIS VISION BACK.
THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL.
AND ROSE HAS ONLY PLAYED 2 SEASONS SINCE THE ACL TEAR
SO IDK WHAT nikkaS TALKING ABOUT
MENTIONING THE LAST 4 SEASONS.

I'm not gonna slander Rose because he's one my fav players ever, but comparing him to Conley, let alone say he's better than him, is a slap to Conley.

You didn't see the game tonight he showed upUntil proven otherwise, Noah is one of the worst offensive starters in the league
He can't finish, can't make an open shot, too many care less turnovers that cancel out any assist numbers
