Shame what happened to Jeff Speakman dude really knew his shyt and seemed like a cool guy. Too bad they had him so tightly under contract he couldn't hardly do anything, they ruined his career when he could have had alot of opportunities in the era of van damme and Steven seagal. Because Ive only seen him in this and that No Limit Silkk tha shocker movie Hot Boyz what a waste.

Called "Beasts Clawing at Straws" in english though. Pretty good. Kind of a slow burn but the 2nd half makes it worthwhile.
lol, I remember at IFFR someone asked the director why it was called Beasts Clawing At Straws and he answered 'I don't know, some marketing guys picked the international title'. :manny:

It actually translates to roughly the same but it originally comes from Japanese (the film's adapted from a Japanese novel) and is a figure of speech that doesn't really translate so they just tried to make sound cooler.
