Yes but not publically, i've heard lectures from bruce lee's student Jesse Glover who met ALI and spoke about bruce lee with him post 1973, Ali respected him and called him a wonderful entertainer and a great martial artist..

It was LEE who was the fan and admirer!

That was my first introduction to universal monster movies.

finally watched it last night. as a movie, it can use some editing and better focus on some of the characters. it does introduce and then shelf characters in ways that can be frustrating. i dont know a lot about brazil but i get the social commentary, for the most part, and i think that aspect works very well. it is beautifully shot. the acting is good - the toughest dude in the movie is a drag queen in real life, LOL. i would never have expected that. some things i have to chalk up to me not knowing the culture very well, like the drug they use or the random nudity. really liked the music. funny, one of the few brazilian songs i know just happens to be what is playing at the very beginning of the movie.

i am glad i watched it and hope to see more brazilian movies localized here.

I don't own the Blu-Ray I own all the original classic movies digitally other than Phantom of the Opera. Which is the only one I have not seen

Didn't really manage to get into it, even though it had all the elements of the type of movies I like. Good movie though.
