Bruh, ever since Game of Thrones ended, there aint shyt worth watching.

I might give Watchmen a shot, since I did like the movie.
Was it purposely 1 season? If so, great.

If that shyt got cancelled after 1 season, I'm not gonna waste my time with open plot holes...

:wow:I swear 2007-08 peaked at movies. The whole gritty dark undertone of flicks around that area really made you actually want to run to theaters. This one right here just was simply:banderas:. The "suicide" scene alone is enough to make you go :whoa::merchant:

Now this movie :francis:.......:francis:

I get where M Night was coming from but WTF:camby:. The movie was wildly unpaced as hell. The beginning draws you in, the middle bores you to death, and the ending was so anticlimatic that I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. The message through the film was on point, but goddamn M Night can't put together a compelling flick to save his life without it falling into the fukking ditch.

Nah. I'm binge watching Morgan Freeman films and it's interesting to see Dan Aykroyd in a serious role. You can learn a lot from watching Morgan Freeman act. I watched Million Dollar Baby and Shawshank recently and Unforgiven is up next.

Morgan Freeman is able to switch from placid to authoritative in the blink of an eye. He is able to transmit compassion but with authority and strength. That's a useful ability to have in real life. Million Dollar Baby would not be the film it is without his acting and his narration. He made that movie. Shawshank too.

After watching Million Dollar Baby I put together a list of the top 10 actors IMO with the best acting / narration voices. Brehs come out on top of course. I was gonna make a thread but instead I'll just put them here.

1. Morgan Freeman
2. James Earl Jones
3. Laurence Fishburne
4. Leonard Nimoy
5. Patrick Stewart
6. Peter Ustinov
7. Christopher Lee
8. Anthony Hopkins
9. Alan Rickman
10. ???

I tried to put together a list for women but could only think of Scarlett Johasson and Cate Blanchett. Says something about the way Hollywood skews roles, grandstanding away from women.

All interesting things to think of in this time when you consider what role media/ Hollywood plays in the establishing of stereotypes.
