I love the riddikk movies but this was just boring as hell, it started off pretty good but once it gets to the mercenaries I dozed off

Watched this last night. At first I thought I hadn't seen it before, but over the course of the movie things started to look familiar so now I'm not sure

It was paced pretty well and entertaining enough, although there is some cliche bits. I did recognize more of the actors this time I wasn't familiar with like Logan Marshall-Green who really does resemble Tom Hardy.

An unexpectedly solid, action-adventure family movie picked by my daughter off of seeing a Netflix upcoming teaser over the weekend. It just dropped on Netflix last night. 8.5/10. I highly recommend.

I actually like this one over part 2, kinda like how I like blade 1 over part 2. I totally buy into the melodrama and all the john woo'isms. All of that imo kind of becomes over the top and almost parody in the sequel. Favorite scene in this one has to be the restaurant scene before the big shootout where hes making his way down the hallway and is dropping guns in the potted plants. The slow mo and the music playing made that scene so egregiously cool.
