Damn, you found four hours to watch this? I'm still mad as hell that my local theater played this at the absolute worst times to watch a 4 hour film.
I started it and was enjoying it but then had to take a 4 hour road trip on a whim and then watched about 3 hours of it last night. Still have an hour to go. It's bleak and everyone in this movie is a piece of shyt but the filmmaking is pretty greatDamn, you found four hours to watch this? Pretty much why, though sad, nobody was surprised the director killed himself after completing this film.I started it and was enjoying it but then had to take a 4 hour road trip on a whim and then watched about 3 hours of it last night. I said the same thing while watching.Pretty much why, though sad, nobody was surprised the director killed himself after completing this film.
I'll never understand the hype with this one. Easily one of the worst films I watched last year.
2/5
not good at all.
Decaprio was great
Just finished it. I need a minute. I don't think I can watch a double dose of The Outsider after that.Pretty much why, though sad, nobody was surprised the director killed himself after completing this film.
Dap, rep. Might have to check it out.
What a time to be alive when the first official 2020 movie release is a Bollywood blockbuster.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior tells the story of a real legendary military leader in a highly fictionalized story. And you know the shyt will be dope when motherfukkers get their arms cut off in the opening credits, and the movie starts with a fight scene where they drop pots of bees on their enemies before rappelling down and hacking the shyt out of everyone and shoulder tackling horses to a soundtrack so hard it makes you wanna run to the gym.
I'm not even going to pretend I had a basic understanding of why these folks were fighting (something about controlling Southern India but also religious oppression) but with a bad guy who's just unnecessarily evil as fukk (Bollywood is incredible in this) played gloatingly by Sacred Games' Saif Ali Khan you have no trouble rooting for him to meet his end.
Add some spectacular battles with mediocre effects and a final battle way bloodier than it needs to be and this is a pretty damn great flick.
Was gonna check for this but seen 4 hours. My family barely did Endgame. We can't focus on a single thing this long.
