I've been dragging out finishing this movie for the longest, I stopped at the part where shorty got poked up thru the window(When they showed the eyes and the knife I was like
Feel like I need to douse my TV in holy water after watching this.
The maggot scene almost made me tap out :timmyimout:

Watched "The Godfather" over the weekend.
That movie truly is a classic. Almost 3 hours long but the story is so immersive.
When Michael takes out the heads of the 5 families at the baptism.
Gonna probably wrap up the trilogy this weekend.
I got a bunch of free tickets to the movies so I plan on checking out some of the Oscar films over the next couple weeks.
Gonna start with "Phantom Thread" in a couple weeks. Possibly "3 Billboards", "I, Tonya", "Molly's Game" and "The Post".
Can't wait

This movie is a straight flames.
Hopkins got the Best Actor award while only being on screen for like 20 minutes.
The movie won the Big 5 on the night.
"Dr. Lecter....Dr. Lecter...Dr. Lecter"

Finished "Godfather II".
Way way better than the first. Had a lot more depth and breadth than the first. We see the mafia outside of just the 'family'. We see the mafia within the law, business and politics of American life. They really don't make films like this anymore.
Pacino was absolutely robbed of the Best Actor award that year.
