E.T., I still like the movie a lot but :mjlol: @ the hamfisted way Spielberg vilified NASA to have something of a "villain" in the movie. When they all unmask after E.T. has died and we're all suddenly supposed to remember these are just regular caring human beings instead of faceless spacesuit wearing kidnappers is so friggin' corny. Then two minutes later when E.T. comes back to life grown-ups kind of need to be a threat again so all of a sudden the cops arrive with their fukking guns out. :russ:

Also, that goddamn eighteen year old dude stunt doubling for ten year old Elliott when they're racing their bikes over the hills from the cops. :deadmanny:

Xia Luo was the class idiot who embarrasses himself during a class reunion at the wedding of his high school crush. Consequently he finds himself thrown back in time to his high school days, where he plans to make something of his life and court his high school sweetheart, all while evading his tomboy-ish future wife as much as possible. Slapstick hi-jinks ensue of the most fukkery kind and although it's a bit predictable, and the Chinese humor doesn't always translate, it's just as often laugh-out-loud hilarious.
