how was it?

I thought it was dope. A drug-trade thriller with lots of action and good pacing; there wasn't too many "lulls" throughout the movie. I have heard it is very comparable to Traffic but I've never seen that flick.

Benicio del Toro was on point. The female lead, Emily Blunt, I found kind of annoying though.

Soredake (That's It) is probably as much of a cult movie as you can get. A young vagrant whose identity was sold by his father comes into possession of a hard drive belonging to a gang containing more stolen identities. They want it back, but all he wants is to kill his father, while a hooker tries to convince him to leave the city once and for all. Low production values, shot mostly in black & white with occasional colors and set to the loud trashing music of some obscure Japanese punk band, it is heavy on style but also a bit on the long side.

so let me step over annie and super 8 to say...

spare parts was good to me,, because i could kind of identify with the kids struggle in a school wihth no books
i mean they were too wholesome for reality
but one of the kids got a full scholarship and became a mechanical engineer
and the others got shots to pursue different dreams
plus marisa tomei looks very, very good for 50+:shaq:
