Don't a few negroes here say: "you are what your father is" even though many AA have a europeon paternal haplogroup? I feel like the there has to be more to it than the colorism argument because it goes both ways .
Like yeah, dark skinned people getting teased, but you also spent your entire childhood seeing MJ and Sammy Sosa and others mocked and clowned on the world stage literally by the media for lightening their skin too. If you felt self conscious before, why wouldn't you still feel self conscious after?
