People are in here arguing about different things. Gender wars and colorism are not the same things. Gender wars are more about why it’s difficult to partner with the opposite sex because of ways they behave. Colorism is promoting certain phenotypes because of how close they are to whiteness. Serena has experienced a degree of racism and colorism from white and black people. But I agree with the post below of why she’s obviously changed her appearance.
