shyt is comicalPeople forget about all the stress that comes with being black and how that contributes to our health issues. But they wanna blame food
The invention of the map and a compass puts Dallas in the southwestern part of the United States........ geographical science dictates this, not coli logic....

That's like saying Chicago isn't Midwest because the compass shows it's closer to the Northeast
People blame soul food but don't realize many of us don't even cook anymoreshyt is comical
That is the LEAST of our worries.
When a hamhock starts racially profiling and killing unarmed Blacks, maybe I'll be more concerned.
Is it taking away from their black heritage by not giving it to them?
Culturally Texas is its own country really. But it was a slave state that was under the Mason-Dixon Line. It's the very definition of a southern state
That's because it's pretty much the same thing, just seasnsed a little different. The only difference between Jamaican food and Soul food is location. Black people took scraps and made some of the best tasting food ever with it.
Last Christmas I invited my family to my crib to meet my girl fam and it was the greatest Christmas dinner ever.
Authentic southern food from my girls mom and authentic Jamaican food from my mom.
RIP to my toilets though
It'd be taking away from the SLAVE portion of their Black heritage
Have you had a stroke recently or something.....?
Even NJ had slaves up until the 1830s I believe. But the reason Texas is a southern state is that it seceded from the Union to preserve southern cultureI would consider Texas its own entity like you said.... Also, I wouldn't use being a slave state as a determinant if the state represents the south or not.... I believe New York and D.C. had mad slaves prior to the American Revolution.... like almost more than the 4-5 southern states combined at one point
