The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
1, that's convenient for a tanking team

2, I'm not sure this qualifies as an expansion team

3, we'll vote at some point

I'm in sixth place, I was .5 away from fourth place and I traded Puig for Nava and am trying to add another starting pitcher, hitter, and closer. Plus I have Teixera and Beachy both coming off the DL within the next week.

I think tanking is a little excessive in my case, currently.

Even if Pineda beasts, you could have gotten more, easily.

At the very least, you should be exchanging (and improving) your draft pick situation in that deal.

agreed.
I sent him like 13 offers for Pineda over the last few weeks tho..
I finally just decided I really wanted Pineda

From all accounts his rehab is going great and is sitting regularly at 95 mph
It's a long shot but if it works out which I think it will I'll have a 24th round keeper.

That makes me feel a little better about the deal for you but there are some doubters that he contributes to the Yanks this year.

I had a huge lead last season and a stacked team (and no draft picks) so I started selling off players I felt like I could afford to lose and it almost came back to haunt me

You're looking at Pineda similar how I'm looking at Beachy tho, his value is in next season because he was drafted way later than he normally would if he was healthy

If he was healthy, he's a 4th or 5th rounder, I think I drafted him between 16 and 18th round.
