Bryce Harper was drafted # 255 last year.
14 teams = 14 picks per round.
255/14 = 18.21. So anything over 18 = 19th round pick.
Bryce is slotted to you as your 19th round pick.
That's correct.
Zimemrman was 54th overall last year.
14 teams = 14 picks per round.
54/14 = 3.85. So anything over 3 equals 4th round.
Zimemrman is slotted as your 4th round pick.

draft results is the actual draft order in which we'll draft. so while matt kemp should be a first rounder, I dont have a first round pick anyway, so it slides down to first ava pick I have, ie 2nd round...
listen is right, some of us tried to push the change through earlier, and the whole system proved bad in terms of teams either going all-in or all-tank with no real in-between incentive. this hopefully should be fixed by now

Picks slide up/down depending on whether you have a pick in that round.
You can double-check where players were taken in 2011/2012 in the league history on Yahoo. Just remember that last year's keepers are probably in accurate as well. If they have a K next to them in the 2012 season's draft, you need to go back to 2011 to find their actual keeper rounder.
This is why McCutchen was listed as a 6th rounder on that "available teams" spreadsheet, when in fact he was a 1st rounder....thus why he wasn't kept by I.V. who has the #3 overall pick.

I guess this is why I've never done a snake keeper before. Auction keepers are much easier to keep track of.

Yup... There was probably one trade all last season that didn't have draft picks being swapped that I can remember.
With the new rules, it should be fixed and less crazy now. You can still go all in but there's no long term benefits at all.
