- 5 keepers, kept for a maximum of 3 consecutive seasons, at the cost of a pick in the round originally drafted in regardless of owner. This means all players drafted before 2010 and kept consecutively must be dropped into the pool before the 2013 draft, regardless of owner. Waiver Wire keepers cost 15th round pick.
- Two or more players kept that cost draft picks from the same round due to trades or FA will be kept with the cost of that round and then increasing the rounds. So two players in the 8th round means you lose 7 and 8, or four players from the 11th round means you lose 11 10 9 and 8.
- You cannot keep a player unless you have draft pick in his round or higher. ie,. you would not be able to keep braun without a first rounder. If you have brandon phillips (2nd round value) you can still keep him if you have no 2nd round pick, but you will still need a first rounder.
- Keepers submitted that do not follow these rules will not be approved by the commissioner
- Draft picks can be raded. If you keep a player at a round in which you do not have a draft pick (because you traded it away), you lose the next pick up. EG: You keep a player with the cost of a 4th rounder, but you dont have one, so you lose a third rounder. The rule above applies - if you have no pick in that players round or higher, you cannot keep him.
