It's not that...

But is a first rounder for two rentals really vetoable? It shouldn't be.

If you have a first round keeper like Cabrera obviously you keep it, but if you don't have a first round keeper, what's the true value?

At the back end of the 1st round in the next draft, you're looking at players who'd go in the second or third round of a normal draft.

Who is the first pick that red and bergin are tanking for? Bryce Harper? :lolbron:

I actually kind of agree with you about setting a bad precedent with the recent vetoes.

The Red trade was absurd because it was a shytty trade for Red...but I mean, I don't think it was collusion......and this Faygo trade probably shouldn't have been vetoed either.

Now, I voted against both of them, but now I wish I hadn't. I don't like the precedent we've set :shaq2:

Hanley Ramirez :blessed:

It seems Adam LaRoche is only capable of hitting HRs on my bench :smh:

Although, I did start L. Martin over him for his speed....and he hit 2 jacks :heh:

I didn't trip... by my calculations Strasburgh at this point is the 17th best starting pitcher right now simply by stats...

No big deal, take less, maybe Belt figures it out and he can be kept who knows, he was not gonna play on my team regardless.

At the end of the day I still don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick. But Puig is 21st keeper and the waiver wire has been nice to me.

Kev picks up Ubaldo, I pick up Lariano :patrice:

Even with that trade still might not get into the money, but why not try when everyone is acting scared!

Injuries happen, and there is still HALF a season to go. ALL of the pitching categories are up for grabs who knows what can happen........

It was never collusion. Did I have to annoy the fukk out of Red to get him to check the desk? Yes! But i would send him an offer, and then after a week he'd reject it with no counter. Bergin does the same shyt.

I think all the trades should have gone through personally but precedent was set and you can't veto my trades and then let faygo's trade go through when he was getting a similar package for significantly less than what I was giving up

I think that some of it had to do with people trying to protect their chance at money rather than whether it was a fair trade or not... Plus some people in this league are insanely conservative when it comes to giving up picks

But You and I have both proven you can sacrifice a ton of picks and still be competitive the next season as long as you draft well and pay attention to waivers

All these vetoes basically made it extremely difficult for any trades to go through for picks

Question is: Does 3rd MAKE money, or just get his money back. :patrice:

Had a request from someone for this.

The following is a list of players who CAN NOT be kept after this season.

If you have any questions about this list, other players' round-values, keeper rules, etc....ask me.

Matt Kemp
Cole Hamels
Jeremy Hellickson
Jason Kipnis
Starlin Castro
James Shields
Craig Kimbrel
Brett Lawrie
Adam Wainwright
Alex Gordon
Ian Kennedy
Dustin Ackley
Asdrubal Cabrera
Stephen Strasburg
Bryce Harper
Eric Hosmer
Julio Teheran
Desmond Jennings

I think that's the list.

Need to amend this list.

Jason Kipnis is on here wrongly. He was taken in the 2012 draft in the 7th round. He has only been kept once.

Apologies.

Please double check before making any trades with keeper implications.
