If @Joly or @loucollins had gotten the package from @Bernie Madoff that he was telling me they were about to get (trout, Harper, encarnacion, ramos, and familia) then I'd probably be a little nervous... But that didn't happen

I don't know what you were looking for but they definitely had the picks to make a deal happen... And if either team had done the deal it guarantees them a top 3 finish so why be conservative?

3rd round pick, 8th round pick, 9th round pick I believe...

I offered trout and harper to a bunch of people for a 3rd and 4th rounder, which would have allowed them to keep both players next season because Harper will bounce back...

oh well I get first pick in 2 years and both will be free agents... #trusttheprocess
