Why the hell wouldn't he keep Duda? Dude's been raking.
Thats one way to look at it......
Or.....You forget where I drafted Dallas. He's Kluber for the next two years and one of my only valuable pitching keeper options, hence why I didn't want to part with him.
I also traded 3 players who cannot be kept and a closer who will just be available via the draft again....for a top 20 player in Pollock who will be under control for two more years at at least 6 rounds below his value, I kept Dallas and I got back a 4th, a 6th and a 7th with a chance to look at Ramos as a cheap closer keeper option for next year.
Possibly I have an idea of what I am doing.
@I.V. You think you're slick but offer was always gonna get pulled before he made it start, ain't my first rodeo breh
I gotcha. I think sometimes people forget how valuable having two firsts is in this league.
Listen, I've been on vacation for the last 6 days... so I wasn't really doing much except trying to get my "stud" pitchers to stop throwing fukking BP.
I like the idea of Severino... I don't like the idea of giving up two picks for him, when
1) He may be getting pulled in the 5th a lot, thus crushing his QS
2) His whip may not be great to close out the year, which is another stat i need.
and 3) it's unlikely you'll keep him, anyway.

Looooooool, Kev changing his future plans based on 4 innings
You should have acted, price went up.
I'd like to trade him but I want fair value for 2 full years of a high upside pitcher as a 15th round keeper. If not, and I don't end up keeping him, I'd prefer to have a 2nd chance at him in the draft as opposed to letting him get locked up for 2 years in a shytty trade where I get nothing back.
You're nonstop jokes.
15th round is not even GREAT value for a pitcher at that level. Which is why I was not willing to give up an 8th round pick for him.
Plus, you won't keep him yourself. So I know he'll be available next year.
Don't talk about "fair value" - because you simply don't understand it. Which is why you have been drafting asscheek rosters for two years, and I jacked you for Abreu.
Next year you should win the league by 25 points, because you've tanked for two years straight... and yet we'll still end up laughing at you.
The worst part is, because of me saying all this... you'll try to figure out a way to KEEP severino for next year, to the detriment of your team... because that's how you work.
This is fun for me. I don't want to trade away picks for a pitcher who's routinely going to go 5ish innings. That doesn't help, especially when I already have Rodon who is the higher ranked prospect -- and I don't even like HIM that much.
That was an accident. Didn't mean to include Martinez. I pulled the deal so kindly shut your mouth.
