Right... We spent months arguing that AJ Pollock would be a 3rd rounder next year yet and was worth one of the 4 best hitters in baseball but we gonna hate on Springer who is better in every way, younger, and can be kept one round later.

Thats one way to look at it......

Or.....You forget where I drafted Dallas. He's Kluber for the next two years and one of my only valuable pitching keeper options, hence why I didn't want to part with him.

I also traded 3 players who cannot be kept and a closer who will just be available via the draft again....for a top 20 player in Pollock who will be under control for two more years at at least 6 rounds below his value, I kept Dallas and I got back a 4th, a 6th and a 7th with a chance to look at Ramos as a cheap closer keeper option for next year.

Possibly I have an idea of what I am doing.
