You traded a 3rd round pick for him. That means you effectively drafted him in the 3rd round. Do you not understand that? His keeper round is basically irrelevant.
Kinda like the 2 year build u are on right nowWay I'm going I won't need him
You're going to be fun to watch next yea
Selling your soul for one title gonna set you up on at least a 2 year rebuild

It's not a terrible move. But it's not like you're getting any value. If you're super high on him then so be it, but to everyone else you overpaid by a fukkton.

You sound like a hater
Cespedes and a 7th for Liriano and a 26th

Kolten Wong and a 2nd for Felix and a 17th
David phelps a 7th and 22nd for teheran and chase Anderson 12th and 26th
Chase utley and a 4th for Tyson Ross and a 14th
Alfredo Simon a 2nd and 7th for Greinke a 19th and 23rd
Yasmany Tomas 3rd and 14th for Shelby miller 18th and 21th
Colin mccugh and a 23rd for a 7th and shoemaker
These are the major pitching trades
So you're telling me these trades are all better value if I overpaid a "fukkton?"
Let's also keep in mind I'm keeping degrom where most of these trades are for rentals
I don't get the point you're trying to make. You paid a 3rd rounder and buxton (who you were creaming over just a few pages back) for 1 year of a top 15 pitcher. The top 15 pitchers will go by the end of the 4th round, so you didn't gain any extra value. Yet you seem to think the fact that he's a 14th round keeper means you're getting that 14th round value, when you're not.
So you paid more than he's worth. Which, again, is fine if you think he'll be a top 5 pitcher next year. But as of now it seems like a lopsided deal.
Its not so much that you overpaid, its that you bragged about him being a 14th round keeper
A first round pick for that....?
