Stocking a team full of blue chip prospects, while finishing in the bottom three, is not the same as having a scouting department.
When your team is competitive last year, it will not be because you hung onto blue chippers, it'll be because you have a ton of picks, early.
You are nonstop comedy. Hoarding top prospects, while watching your team sink like a stone, and then bragging about it...

1. You traded for Harper AFTER his power explosion. That's not scouting.
2. Springer Correa and Betts have been top 10 prospects for 2+ years now. It's not like you plucked them from obscurity.
3. You had the ability to sit on them while they were in the minors, because you're team is a dumpster fire, and you threw in the towel early.
It's not like you drafted a good team, and took a risk on one or two players to wait it out, and have them show up as the cavalry to push you into the money...

First of all I had no early picks I didn't pick till the 7th round and I was able to turn my "garbage" draft into the best keepers by far and a good draft pick situation
And hell, I might even make a run with the offense I've assembled
Well, yeah....that doesn't mean your draft wasn't garbage lol.
And not having a pick till the seventh round...a year after finishing in 11th place...is another hilarious discussion.
