I did not veto but have veto'd in the past. While I thought both trades were absolutely ridiculous they were not veto able. It's very plausible that A.J. is a top 20 player from here on out. I can see why people would veto though. Imho he should have at least got a draft pick.
Sometimes people get all up in arms over names and not stats. Also it's not like Miggy could have been kept. Everyone will value expiring players differently.
You should have just resent the trade with maybe a 3rd or 4th attached. It is also very possible that Listen seen he fukked up and will no longer do the deal.
My mind set is, I didn't veto, the league did and I'm not obliged to try and push the same trade through again to make the other party feel complete. I had a shyt ton of offers on my three expiring contracts between multiple teams with multiple pick options and still do since the veto.
I haven't pulled the trigger on any trades in an attempt to avoid the drama, but at some point I will and when I do I expect no tears.
