You are very correct we should push this mixtape here as well, but it should also be equivalent to what is done on other sites/blogs. However, as you said, a large portion of the community are here for the mainstream music and they won't be converted to download by voting on artists they don't care about. There are blogs that will work better as a promotion in that aspect.
I'm still with the idea to make 1 amazing first mixtape and get it out in as many places as possible. Then, hopefully, we can covert the mainstream readers to check out something that everyone else is talking about.

Pushing this mixtape should really be no different then pushing any other underground mixtape, set up a really good EPK, get it up on blogs, mixtapes sites and so on.

No deadline yet and I've only heard 6 finished tracks so far so it's still wide open for anyone to submit a track. Send them to the thread starter.
