Its a great routine to get into on rising because it keeps the blood flowing and joints lubricated.
A proper push up recruits so many muscle fibers. Throw in some pull ups and a few squats and you're good to go as it spins up you energy wonderfully.
Haven't done shoulder push ups for a while but they were tough. Just the handstand was enough sometimes...
