I personally couldn't do it. Either the dad is a scumbag and she has a lot of emotional baggage cause of what he did or the dad is still apart of the childs life and she still low key got feelings for him. I couldn't put myself in a position to either be blamed for all the things her ex did or possibly be strung along and they eventually get back together. I'll be a friend to her but I'm not gonna get involved romantically.

Kind of odd but as a dude I don't think I could ever judge a single mother. One of my sisters is one and not by choice but rather because of some very tragic unforeseen events. I never judge them based on that alone.

And we also have to take into consideration that dudes get major pass when it comes to single mothers.

I got at least two homegirls who are single moms. they made a mistake with their high school/early college sweetheart but rebounded and have a career.

they're both real chill and know what they want in a significant other and have no time for games. plus their kids are well behaved

are you guys still against this? they have their own shyt and are just lookign for good guys. most are willing to cook and cater as well.

i feel like saying no to ALL single moms is like saying no to all used cars or somethin ridiculous like that. im not sayin u gotta marry them, but some are worth legitimately dating.

plus if you can see what type of mother she already is if youre ever thinkin about kids.

Ninus my bashing of single moms it's just not worth it, you may fall in love with the kid and her breakup and then that's a double whammy , you may have raised that kid as your own but when it's over you have no authority or right to see that kid again.

Secondly having another man in the picture aka baby dad, he will always always have a part till he's dead.

Come home and lavonte is in your crib, anytime lavonte might say I changed I want another chance like alot of dudes do when their ex is in another relationship odds are you will be kicked to the curb, that fantasy of a big happy family never dies, no matter how "horrible dude is" according to her.

my godson mom is a single mom, ill go pick him up to chill with me for the day come back and baby dad car is parked in the street, drop him off on some , then in the morning sometimes pick him up to drive to daycare and baby dad car is parke din the same location, all this while she';s dating some other dude whose obvious to what's going on.

Why would you ever even consider dating a single mother? Maybe you have kids yourself but for those of us who were smart enough or maybe lucky enough to avoid creating broken families with more than likely b*stard children single mothers aren't worth bothering with. There's always a better catch with no kids.
