"Handsome" could just be some generic social interaction shyt.

But if she's going "I like your nose, eye lashes, hair, skin tone, lips" etc...

Over time, tho.I have a coworker who's into me.I know I could hit if I wanted to,

but she has a man.She's complimented me/broke down my features piece by piece over the last few months.

First it was "You have a nice skin tone".......then it was "You have a cute nose"...a couple interactions later "You have nice lips"

I know it's moist for me.That analytical/microscopic thirst is underrated.




That being said, "cute" is the worst.It signifies boyishness.Like "You're not ugly, but you could be more aggressive"

Basically "You're mildly attractive, but I don't get the sense that you'd break my back in the bedroom"

Depends what type of chick is delivering the "cute" line, tho.

If it's a square valley girl, it's all good............If it's a hood chick, you're food

The word of choice as you get older is handsome when said directly to you. Why? Nah, I think handsome is a good thing. I find that guys that are called "cute" by women tend to have feminine qualities on them, guys that are called "hot" usually are the guys that are super cut/ripped in the body (guys they would fukk in a one night stand), whereas handsome implies an overall masculine, charming attractiveness about them.

Handsome is the male equivalent of pretty.

I've always seen handsome as a basic nothing special compliment for boring dudes that look "mature". It doesn't evoke desire like other compliments.

When women can point out features they like and show it by how they act in your presence that's far better than being called handsome.

On one hand a chick can say that with full intentions to suck youu up. When folks start talking about my lips I already know what time is it.

On the other hand, women really are using cute and handsome as throwaways to not hurt someone's feelings who shooting they shot. Thats the context I believe OP is going for, when a girl you're pursuing calls you handsome. Of course you'd feel sometype of way hearing that and still get denied
