I'd pass, those miles are too high for a 7yo car. That one has seen about 21k per year, you want to aim for something that's seen around 12k.

:mjcry: I ain’t got no damn self control:mjgrin:

I told my wife I was just gonna look at it...

:troll:I went on and got that bihh cash,

Mainly because it wasn’t gonna put a dent in my savings and my cousin gonna sell me his Taurus for like 1500.

You coulda got a 2016 for half price. The bigger grille n shyt is not worth $40-50k more :snoop:They’re about to change the shape, that depreciation gonna hurt Breh.
Do you know what the average payments would be on a 2016 M5? What's the difference between the M5 series and the 5series BMs?

Vastly superior engine, suspension, and trim, along with exponentially higher maintenance costs. If you get non M car, make sure to get one equipped with a sport package. It’s worth the money even to the average consumer. I got an older 7 and a 5 and both are fitted with it. Sports models have much better suspensions and gearing and also come with small changes to the trim as well, such as blacked out chrome and sportier steering wheels which are usually found on M cars. They also sit lower and have a more aggressive stance than standard bmw’s.

Thanks for the feedback.
It's time for an upgrade - I have a Benz but I feel the other side calling me, BMWs. 3 rear end collision accidents (other drivers' fault) and a sideswipe, 2 flat tires in less than 2 yrs. I don't trust it anymore - car is an Omen on wheels at this point. Not worth the time or expense-hasn't performed right since the 2nd accident, I think the wheel base is messing up the tires, but what do I know?- I do know that it's time for it to go, unfortunately. Had an X5 before, but that seemed to be in and out of the shop with engine overheating; so I want something sturdy, powerful and equipped with payments around $750 max. I'm not a fan of the 3s or the X- so I'm thinking 5 or M's. 7 series would be too much for me and I don't need that size. Thanks for the input.

I got a 5 series, just changed a tire this morning from a flat i caught last night. Didnt see the big ass pothole with all the rain falling. I dont even wanna tell you how many flats ive caught since i had this thing. ...its the city esp this time of year when its cold.
With that max payment amount, you should be able to get the newer body 5 series wit the m sport package.

Thx for the info.
Between the accident and potholes, driving me insane. I had one of those portable tire inflators but it's def not as powerful as the gas station pumps and it takes forever to inflate. I don't know how to change a tire at all, so that's not an option. most frustrating thing ever. and it's not even the front tires, it's always the back tires, without fail. I know I hit a few potholes, unavoidable. The car kept losing the cap screw (or whatever it's called), adding to that would cause a slow leak. I had the "run flat" tires on it, but those are twice as expensive to replace and it's not like they auto-inflate, so it's basically delaying the inevitable. Do BMW cars come with run flat tires too - but with the sports package or Ms the tires are probably equipped for more hazardous conditions? Like @Stir Fry stated. You know how Benz has the "amg" package with the amg tires, "sports" is the comparable package for BMW?

528/535/550 just relate to the size of engine it comes equipped with, just in case you’re not aware. You can still get any of those models with the same sport and trim packages. The 528 is a stout turbo four cylinder, 535 is a turbo six cylinder and the 550 is a v8.

yes, M is the AMG equivalent.

Yup, comparing the sport to an amg would be a decent analogy. AMG may massage the engines while BMW only tunes the gearing as far as i know though. Only M’s get an engine treatment too. I’m not a fan of run flats personally.

i like benzes, but as somebody that buys their cars out of warranty, I appreciate the fact that it’s much easier to find independent bmw mechanics than it is to find benz ones.

Yeah its just something gotta deal with out here.
BMW always tries to pitch you on run flats. I always refuse. I hate run flats. Way too noisy and like you said too expensive. Yeah the AMG and M are comparable.
