Whats next Dems? Ya'll still want the DNC to impeach or nah?

These two posts back to back

Trump's lawyers: Attempt to quit on the census issue, judge doesn't let them. File that the situation related to tax returns is intolerable :mjcry:

Dead7, uninformed as usual: Checkmate, Dems :win:

Can’t be mad at Mueller. Mueller is the exact kind of person you want leading investigations like this .He doesn’t let politics influence investigations. He filed his report and said here you go now do something about it . The problem is with the Democratic Party not being able to do anything with this information. Its a failure in the parties leadership.

Give republicans shyt like this and whoever president is GONE .

Almost got Clinton out of the paint with a blowjob and made The Public Option seem like the second coming of The Holocaust during health care debates .

But democrats can’t do any anything with all this ?

I wish this impeachment talk would DIE. What’s the point in going for impeachment when not ONE republican gonna vote for it. Mitch already said it ain’t even gettin to da floor. SO WHATS THE POINT?!

@FukkaPaidEmail I think we can blame Mueller for walking back his statement to Lieu. That was bullshyt. He said what he said, then realized it was a sound bite he wanted to avoid.

But yea I am not wasting any energy on any feelings for Mueller, a unelected public servant.

Pelosi gonna keep kicking the can down the road. We shouldn't waste anymore energy on being mad impeachment isn't happening. All we can do is see how things play out.

With that I am taking a break from all this. Tired of it tbh.

Hold it down y'all. I'll be back if and when something major goes down no doubt but I need a break. :ahh:

I'm holding it down :demonic:

This is Nancy's plan, to run out the clock on her own constituents until they run out of energy

I'm not with it

I'd say it's past time for Pelosi to retire. They way she handled the debt ceiling is terrible and will hurt the next Dem president :scust:

But impeachment is inherently a political decision so it's reasonable for Pelosi to be worried about it having a negative affect on her party. It doesn't poll that well, is doomed in the Senate regardless, and probably won't change anyone's mind about Trump.

Imagine they impeach, and then the GOP wins big in 2020 (Trump gets re-elected and GOP wins the House). Then everybody will say impeachment was foolish and handed the election to Trump.

No, she believes that people who want Trump out will vote against him anyway, but that impeachment might push people on the fence towards Trump and/or increase Republican turnout.

Maybe she's wrong :yeshrug: but I'm wary of overestimating an electorate that voted for Trump.

If the president was a democrat muller would have locked his ass up. But what do you expect from Barr’s bible study buddy.

We let the republicans tell us Muller would do the job. Now another republican is implying we should impeach the president. Maybe we shouldn’t be listening to republicans anymore.

Anyone have his correction to Lieu's question? I saw the headline yesterday (that Mueller corrected his statement), but didn't get a chance to see it. Anyone got a link handy?

EDIT:

In case anyone else didn't catch it.

To be honest part of it is that Democratic voters are inherently different than Republican voters and harder to please.

When Republican voters are mad about something they vote en masse. When Democratic voters are mad about something (or just feeling uninspired) they stay home or vote 3rd party because "both sides are the same". :skip:

That said Mueller is and has been a Republican, so he was never going to make serious moves against Trump. I tried to tell yall that the hype was going to lead to disappointment.
