the charges against manfort could have been handled in one case if i'm not mistaken.
manafort chose to have two separate trials.
i may not have this all right but this is how i understand it;
all of his shyt was in one case at first.
then he said he wanted it broken up into two cases.
one was his personal financial crimes and the other was the russian shyt?
manafort wanted his charges broken up and and tried in two seperate places for a reason.
his personal financial shyt is not really important other than pointing to the real shyt in the second case.
the second case was all about RUSSIA....and look what happened there.
manafort's team did nothing but abuse the legal system by trying to extract sensitive info about Mueller's investigation through discovery.

I’m betting it has less to do with physical threats and more so possibility that he’s been made promises to take care of his family financially. He has a cpl birdbrain daughters and an amateur porn star wife who looks perpetually dazed and dikkmatized.
I don’t think the Russians would cross that line bc the resulting furor if Manafort did flip would still be in their interest. At this point I believe that while the Russians do want trump to survive as long as possible, they don’t necessarily fear exposal. Everyone knows they did that shyt.
