There was numerous signs that they were never going to go full court press on Trump and his family. How was Rosenstein supervising the investigation when he gave Trump cover to fire Jeff sessions? Why would Mueller go from getting interviewed by Trump for the FBI director position to being Special Counsel? If the GOP were really worried they would have never talked highly about Mueller from the jump. They would have never voted unanimously to release the report. Everybody getting sweetheart deals. And the fact Mueller is a establishment republican. You really think he would have went down the rabbit hole and hemmed up the GOP?
