Asked him about hirings or firings of anyone at SDNY? He wont answer. District of Virginia? He wont answer. Asked if he agreed with Trump saying the FBI has a stench? He said he held a high opinion of them. She reiterates her question, he rambles about his tone as the head of the department. She says his response was pitiful. Asked him about the drugs coming through point of entry and it being the main point of how drugs get into the US? He said yes but pointed out, yes on the southern border.

Rep Correa is asking him about white extremist alt right groups. Asks him if they pose a threat? He said yes and its growing.
Asked is the administration placing importance on these attacks, he answers yes.
Correa said that were 7000 reports of hate crimes in 2017 and they have only pursued convictions in 30 cases.

In the @HouseJudiciary hearing today, Whitaker says he has had no conversations with @realDonaldTrump about the Mueller probe, but he is unwilling to say whether he spoke with Trump about other investigations tied to Michael Cohen in the Southern District of New York.
