I've encouraged all my non-felony having family members to go get their FOID and conceal carry cards and at least one weapon. In my heart, I know its going to come to this and I wish I was wrong. Although I live in a city where it has a slim chance of it being an all out battle in the streets, I still have to commute to work and take care of my daily business. I tend to stay out of white spaces and away from places where I know there will be a lot of white ppl will be for precisely this reason. I dont know when one of them with nut up and kill a bunch of people.
