Rep Deutch, asked about Trump knowing Whitaker was critical of SC and Trump said he didnt, asked him did he believe him. Asked who he interviewed with, it was Sessions. Before he took the job, asked did he speak to President, he said he never met Trump. He said did not talk to anyone in White House. Asked if he used a intermediary, he said no. Noted that he was not next in line according to the statue which he listed a bunch of people prior to him who should have been selected and he wants to know why Trump picked him.

Rep Biggs is asking if it is still DOJ policy that the a sitting President cant be indicted. He said yes.
Asked about Rosenstein comments about the 25 amendment statement, he says he believed Rosenstein's follow up comments after story was released in the media (Rod's denials). He wont answer about his conversation w/ Rod.

GOP's angle seems to be to attack Rosenstein at each go around.
Asked about his comments saying no collusion back in June. Asked does he still believe that statement. He said that was before, he was a private citizen with only public info.
Biggs presses asking him if his opinion changed, he wont answer or give an opinion. Wont talk about SC scope. Biggs asks again anyway but closed without response.
