Which is exactly why if I had to chose between impeaching Trump or re-claiming the Senate, I'm choosing the Senate. Trump is a dead man walking.

Still think it will happen, but very late in the game. There's no way the Mueller Report doesn't dig up something very direct. They have too many cooperating witnesses who were intimately involved IMO (Gates, Flynn, Nader, Cohen) and they probably have tons of relevant documents.

I'm sure Pelosi also wants to cool those talks for a while b/c people aren't fully engaged and she doesn't want them to be seen as pushing impeachment in 2019, especially as the economy continues to tank.

Listen, either the Democrats look weak to their base because they won't talk that talk or they appear strong, appear to be standing up for our democracy by challenging Trump. Pelosi doesnt have to come out and say she wants to impeach Trump but she doesnt have to swat it down either. Thats the problem with the democrats, to alot of their voters, they appear weak. No one wants to vote for someone who they think won't change anything. A check on Trump energized their base and got them the house. They have the house and now they are putting the pressure on, thats what we want to see. When they get the, do you want to impeach Trump question, respond with "we will see what evidence of criminal and unethical behavior is unearthed while we fulfill our duties of oversight. Once those investigations have yield enough evidence for a discussion to be had, we will take a look at what processes we will follow to correct the behavior, leading up to impeachment. However, we will wait for the Mueller report and our own investigations to be complete before I can provide a definitive answer to that question". NOT, its too divisive and it has to be bipartisan when you KNOW the Republicans are holding on to the sinking ship. Its demoralizing for people who won them the house expecting impeachment or strong response to this Administrations corruption.

The Republicans have operated like thugs for a long time now and if Dems need to get on code and push back. The media is also to blame because they act so shocked and making shyt a trending story when a Democrats appears tough and not afraid to call out Trump. They expect the Dems to stay weak and frame any push back as shocking behavior because they are use to their timidness. Democrats aren't above criticism from their base, thats the problem now. Some of their voters are just as weak as them. You can acknowledge what they are doing and call for more action and criticize them when they dont act. And I would definitely be on every news show calling the Republicans out by name for their shyt.

Actually having no confidence in his leadership and being unfit for the job are impeachable offenses. Those just happen to be the "minor" infractions compared to the enriching himself during the presidency, conspiring with a foreign government, obstruction of justice and reckless nepotism.
