It's not an overreaction to be dejected at seeing the potential conclusion of the case of an international criminal on the scale of Paul Manafort, who played a large role in giving us Trump, may end up for all intents and purposes getting away with it.
I do not mean to dismiss the lives of hundreds of my slain brothers and sisters who are murdered by police in this country, but I got the same sinking feeling at reading "47 months" that I did seeing Zimmerman and Darren Wilson walk away unscathed.
It's not an overreaction to be pissed off or depressed knowing the power imbalance in this country will never be in your favor.

I have watched as the FBI entrap Somali kids and give them 20 year sentences for dumb stuff and to watch the accountant for the president’s business get a get out of jail free card. I believe Mueller will come out and say he doesn't have enough irrefutable evidence to convict the GOP and Trump of a RICO . If he was gonna do that, he should have done that a very long time ago. This is an open and shut case of RICO. If that was 50 Cent or Floyd or LeBron or Durant, they would have been RICO'd from the jump. Also, why is Don Jr still not even indicted for lying to Congress? The guy took a meeting with Russia stating this is help from Russia . Still no charges ? We have Jared who wanted sensitive info our nuclear program to take home with him and the Saudis have bragged Jared is their employee. This Manafort sentencing angers many people and rightfully so . Imagine getting entrapped with 1 oz of weed and doing 10 years and Manafort has been a criminal all his life, but he's getting 4 years like that was just a DUI for all types of frauds?
