So let me pose a question.

Regardless of whoever else Mueller indicts, what are the chances they they make it all the way through the court system without either running into a MAGA juror who won't vote guilty (regardless of how obviously guilty they actually are) or a MAGA judge that'll go as easily as possible?

I'm not being facetious either, this is something I legitimately wonder about.

i'm not happy about this outcome but i would like to point out that this is just giving manafort more rope to hang himself with.
think about how much can happen within his prison sentence.
think of what will happen within the next week, month or year.

the fact that manafort is going to spend time in prison is proof enough that things are moving in the right direction.

ollie north never spent any time in prison.
i think we are on to something.

There's no silver lining here, it's too fukked up to put into words. 15 years shorter than what prosecutors recommended. Judge made sure to start off by mentioning this has nothing to do with collusion.

Then he said Manafort lived an otherwise blameless life while he he is pleading guilty in another case and also found guilty of lying to prosecutors and false cooperation :mindblown:

The DC case is weaker, because he pleaded out, to two counts of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, with a MAX of 5, each.
