This is something of an outrage, and I expect a flurry of op eds about it, but it is just the reality of our system, and it doesn't always work. Judges have discretion and white collar crimes are often punished much less severely than many think they should be.

Typical white pirvilege in that he is a financially successful person, with a title, lawyer, consultant, who lived in the upper class, therefore, he can't be THAT bad of a person. He had kids! A wife! A family for GODS SAKE!
