After Tuesday's hearing I am a bit nervous everyone will stop looking at collusion with Russia and just focus on the financial crimes.

Very high percentage chance that the financial crimes also involve Russia.


We been speculating this for the longest:

1. Trump goes bankrupt multiple times
2. Trump can't get a loan inside the U.S.
3. Trump gets financing from various Russian sources for his projects
4. Either as part of, or in exchange for this, Trump launders Russian money in his real estate holdings
5. Possibly in exchange for relief of some of this debt and/or because of previous financial relationships with Russia, Trump agrees to lift sanctions on Russia which are blocking potential multi-billion $ Exxon deal from going through (why Rex Tillerson was brought in to Admin. in the first place)
6. Congress becomes aware of this and votes an override proof motion to force Trump to increase sanctions on Russia

Without a 100% guarantee of removal, there could be an unintended consequence of making Trump look stronger for having beat an impeachment before the election and galvanizes his voters and Republicans to stick by him.

Just like with Bush Sr. and Jr. The only thing that would loosen their grip on protecting Trump is the economy to fall badly. Money is the only thing they respect.

In that case, all those farmers in the Midwest and the rust belt states are suffering due to the tariffs trade wars raising prices and GM plants closing down. Not only Trump riled up non-voters to go out to vote AGAINST him, he also pissed off his former supporters. The Midterm elects that just passed just confirmed that.

Support and voting for aren't the same thing. The same way voters in red states will support "socialist" policies like ObamaCare, 15hr, or worker's rights but won't vote for the Democrat candidate. Trump is going to win those southern states no matter what but the margin of victory in swing/midwest is about turnout of conservative Dems.
