I don’t find either guy wrong, Cody just went overboard with the caping. There’s a spot for a more traditional style of wrestling just as there is for the flippy shyt that’s become common now, the problem and where I think complaints come from is that it’s kind’ve become synonymous with the modern style of wrestling and there’s not always enough balance.
The flip side argument to that is like, Braun Strowman right now is just as popular as the Young Bucks yet neither acts styles are similar at all, proof that people are willing to watch whatever entertains them. Cody just went in because the YBs are his friends and, more truthfully, they’re his meal ticket and he’s smart to protect that act for as long as it’s hot
