That's a complete straw man argument. Just because someone doesn't want all that flippy shyt doesn't mean they just want to take it back to the wrestling of the 70s. There's a middle ground. Most wrestling fans worship Flair, Macho Man, Steamboat, HBK, Benoit, Guerrero because they were able to introduce athleticism into a match in a way that still made logical sense. This shyt in that clip above just just doing shyt to do it and not because it made logical sense.

Young Bucks have achieved major mainstream appeal with their wrestling style so why change it? They may have to eventually modify their style but for now they should just continue doing what works. But at the same time some people overdo the flippy gymnastics in many indy matches. Seeing moves like the C4/Spanish Fly always bugs me for that reason.

I get that but it’s about the current era of what live in..... just cuz someone wants that athletic stuff don’t mean they are idiots and don’t know shyt about wrestling.

Different things entertain different people, and just like some people may not wanna see this style every match on a card. People also ain’t trynna see every match be 1970s Flair vs Steamboat style.

There’s room for all of it and it should be a variety.

We live in an era now where most of us are on our phones, laptops, or devices while we watch this shyt and the matches of the style you mentioned gives us too much time and opportunities to look away and browse/blog/text/post where atleast with this style of activity and action we feel more compelled to keep watching cuz we don’t know what more crazy shyt may happen next and don’t want to miss

I didn't like the sequence but the match was fire.

It happened at the start of the match and the way i see it is that Page and the Bucks are used to being the more athletic team im these 6 man matches. But this team they're facing now is able to keep up with them. Thats why Bullet Club was visibly mad at the end of the sequence. Kind of set up the rest of the match
