I don’t even think most care if he drop the WWE title to Cody at Mania, we just wanna see him get 1000 days as champ then drop it to Jey or maybe even Sami. If they did it that way, everyone gets what they want.

I'll admit I haven't sat down and actually watched a SD/Raw in a bit, are they making a big deal of 1000 days or is this just the fans thing? Because it seems arbitrary at this point, he's dominated for so long already who cares if he's 60 days short or whatever

Wouldn't he lose both titles if he lost? The last few tag title matches both were on the line, I can see they have some grey area to play with here.

Nah Roman needs to drop both when he drops, the win is super hollow if he's still a champion. Put both on Cody and let him cut the biggest My Daddy Said promo of all time so we never have to hear about Dusty again and figure out a way to split the belts after

There may have been a few times we had champ vs champ and one walked away with both belts but there has not ever been a time when a champ faced someone with 2 belts and won both at the same time. 2014 don’t count because they technically combined the titles and was just waiting till they designed one belt. Plus there was no real brand split back then so one world title made a lot more sense. Now each network wants their own world champ which is why Roman had to start making appearances at Raw since he got the belt from Brock last year. They had a whole year and still haven’t combined both titles into one when they easily could have by now.

I low-key want to see a long feud between Cody and Gunther for the title I have to admit....if they do decide to pull the trigger. I could also see Cody having some fun title defenses just because he's entertaining to watch in the ring.

Again, he squashed everyone. That’s the fault of the bookers, such a big roster, this shouldn’t be the predicament

Idk. You gotta be able to carry segments to be a main eventer, Jey's good at making facial expressions to things and has good timing. Like we saw last Friday, he can't carry a segment and tell a story. That was awful

And if you split them up Jimmy's a low card guy from that point on so they gotta take that into consideration too
