Nah Roman needs to enter the top 5 title reigns of all time... I don't expect him to beat Bruno 2000 something days but...Pedro Morales has 1,027 this is a wasted opportunity if he doesn't at least pass this record. No one has came close to touching any if these records and they have an organic story line building from this. I can even see him beating Brunos 4th place record of 1237 days. Cody can wait or they can make it for one belt. But Roman needs to retain the universal title (the one that started the reign) and his next story line needs to reinforce that he truly is in GOD mode and entering that pantheon of champions
No he doesn’t lol WWE has been pushing Roman as the face of the company since 2015. He’s been booked like 80s Hogan the last three years. What more do they need to do to show he’s the guy? Why does he need both belts to show he’s a god? Austin Rock Taker Foley Bret etc didn’t have the belts all the time but we’re still viewed as gods.
I literally said in my post he needs to drop one of the belts lol. And nah this is nothing like Hogan booking. He definitely needs to break records. Dude is believable as the man. His original push was trash but he definitely came into his own and has earned everything he has right now.
Jinder Mahal was the WWE Champion at one point.

I agree, there has to be something there other than this small build up. Roman's been a champ for so long, you want a longer buildup for the guy taking him down
