And that's all I've ever said about killzone is that the setting/story is bland and it hasn't been able to match the success of its competitors.

For an MP centered game that is a big deal because your experience relies on the community.
Killzone story is that piff boy

I know for a fact you haven't played through any of the games so you're just talking nonsense

Bro you compared JANUARY PS3 numbers to OCTOBER Xbox numbers

Regardless of whether the numbers haven't been updated you can't post those numbers without atleast SPECIFYING THAT THE XBOX NUMBERS HAVE A 9 MONTH SALES GAP

But you didn't you acted like both numbers were up to date & I called you out on it :yeshrug:

It sounds like you are mad at Sony not me. So am I supposed to give Sony the benefit of the doubt just because they are to lazy to update numbers? Or maybe them numbers have looked :flabbynsick: since Jan. and they choose not to publish them. :yeshrug: But regardless I stick with the official numbers until updated by MS and Sony, fukk vgcharts and their elk.

Reviewers Are Reporting Frame Rate Problems With 'Call Of Duty: Ghosts' On PS4

Call of Duty: Ghosts is the latest iteration in one of the most popular game franchises in the world, so it’s only fitting that Activision’s shooter has become the center of a big discussion of how Microsoft's MSFT +1.94% Xbox One stacks up to Sony's SNE -1.35% PS4. The PS4 version runs at a native 1080p, and the Xbox One version runs at 720p upsacled to 1080, which may point to real differences in the power of these two consoles.

The other day, Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin explained that the Xbox One version had to stay at 720p to keep the game running at the crucial 60 frames per second. Now, it appears that the PS4 version, which does run at 1080p native, is having a hard time keeping the frame rate up. Nearly every reviewer who has talked about the PS4 version describes some kind of frame rate failure. Here are a few examples:

Polygon: ”Much has been said about the fact that the PlayStation 4 version of the game runs at a native 1080p, and while that may be true, the game did struggle to maintain a steady frame rate, especially in hectic multiplayer matches. The PS3 version of the game ran into similar problems, whereas the Xbox 360 version maintained a steady 60 frames per second.”

IGN: “On the current-gen versions Ghosts looks nearly identical, though I did encounter occasional framerate issues during the single-player campaign on PS3 and PS4.”

Joystiq: ”A key pillar of the Call of Duty experience has always been rock-solid 60 frames per seconds gameplay. On Xbox 360, Ghosts maintains this mandate. The PlayStation 4 version, however, has noticeable technical issues, sometimes slowing to a crawl, particularly during set-piece moments with multiple effects. One specific moment I was able to replicate multiple times on PS4 was a campaign scene that ran smoothly on Xbox 360 and PS3, while the game chugged On PlayStation 4. These frame rate hitches happen throughout the campaign on PS4 and, in a series known for its Hollywood-inspired bombast, it detracted from the experience.”

They say that there was no lag noticeable on Xbox 360, but Xbox One reviews are embargoed until Nov. 12. So far, I haven’t noticed any slowdown on the Xbox 360 version, but that isn’t particularly relevant.

I’ll say the same thing I did when it was the Xbox One that looked bad in these comparisons — I really don’t think this matters. This is a cross-gen, cross-platform game coming out at the very beginning of both of these consoles. Developers will be figuring out this hardware for years to come, and getting better in the process. I wouldn’t look to a game also out on previous-gen for hard optimization and benchmarking evidence.

It’s entirely possible that we’ll end up noticing a marked difference in graphics quality on exclusive games as these consoles mature — you could already see that with some of the great-looking games released towards the end of the PS3 lifespan. But on the whole, I don’t think that this console generation will be fought on this sort of particular scale. The differences are bound to be minor enough that most gamers won’t notice.

Frame rate aside, most of the reviews are fairly middling. I’m just a few missions in and perfectly pleased so far, but we’ll see.
