I dont think you know what the word average means... The average house in California is $600k. That counts for the higher priced suburb prices and the low priced houses as well.

I live in the bay area.. the most expensive place in the country.. the average house is still $600-700k...$500k in some parts.. this is still double the average cost of a house in California no matter how you slice it. Please just stop using this failed point in your posts.

The point wasn't that a 1.4 million dollar house is nothing . I dont care about the California housing market

The point is that a Couple getting a mortgage for a 1.4 million dollar house doesnt sound even slightly noteworthy.

If you saw a headline that said " best selling author and wife obtain mortgage on 1.4 million dollar house" you wouldn't look twice at it.

Who defends pastors buying big houses and fancy cars? Pastors that collect tithes and offerings and ball out with it should be exposed and often have been exposed.

The issue in this case is black pain and suffering is once again being used to fund other causes and none of that money is going to the people actually suffering. Black men and women get killed and a movement gets created and yet the majority of the money gets dumped into lgbt while little to none is received by the communities most effected.. however when the lgbt raises money for a cause, how often do blacks get even a chunk of money out of their pot?
