When he states that a segment gained a few hundred thousand viewers that is in comparison to what else is on the show... That is not in comparison to other overruns meaning that Punk has already lost those viewers that are no longer tuning in to the overrun.

I don't care about the ratings. My reply in this thread was to those who feel Punk is a superstar (including Punk himself). He's not. He's a very good performer. I like the character. I liked his Straight Edge Society character as well. But I'm not foolish enough to believe that he is on a level with the all-time greats. He's not even Cena status.. so fall back.

Punk is a star he was just on that Walking Dead talk show, did that parade and wrote some comic book. No one is saying he is on Austin's level but he definitely is a star, a bigger star that a lot of tsc favorites at that.

You must not read very well either you claim there are tons of posts claiming the above but can't find one. Seems legit.

Don't confuse me with others friend, Brook or bk can confirm I don't have any aliases. You didn't have to be scared to say how you felt when there were reps we wouldn't have negged you, no need to poke your chest out when they are gone.

@The Great One been hating Punk since day one and never got a neg over it. I just find it funny how the bandwagon haters have popped up all of a sudden.

I don't particularly care about ratings either, there are many other aspects of the wrestling business I find a lot more interesting.

BUT, something I do wonder about ...

Could the fact that it's a three-hour show now have something to do with low ratings in overruns? People getting burned out sitting through three hours of what is mostly pretty forgettable television, and just tuning out before the show even ends?

I don't study this shyt so I might be off base, but to me it kinda makes sense.

No, what you're saying does make sense. But with that said there have been other overruns/final segments that have done very well where Punk wasn't the focal point.

But that is a good point. The three hours has not helped anything.

CM Punk is in the main events of these ALL TIME terrible rated Raws. That just can't be ignored or ran from no matter how feminine his supporters get when they can't accept numbers and facts. Now Punk himself is at Meltzer for telling the truth. The comedy never ends.

You, of all people, calling the supporters of any wrestler "feminine" is laughable. I've never seen someone defend anyone (wrestler, family, friend or pastor) with the fervor that you defend Dwayne.

Numbers don't lie, but are we going to act as if Punk is the only reason for declining ratings? Be real. I know he's gearing up for a feud with Dwayne and all, but , it's just television.
