What would he know about commentating on MMA? He doesn't know the first thing about the myriad types of striking, transitioning into the clinch, and a host of other things. Just because you roll with the Gracies that does NOT mean you'll get anywhere in the Octagon. Look at Roger Gracie, an elite grappler himself who has medalled more than a dozen times. He fared horribly in his UFC debut after a decent run in Strikeforce and got cut. BJJ and wrestling alone is not enough.
But I'll still watch him try to handle getting hit by shins. Feed him Thiago Alves and we'll see if he's destined to be anything close to a gatekeeper
