After listening to that pod, D Rose reminds me a lot of Barry Sanders. Supremely talented, GREAT, but didn't care about the stats, accolades and notoriety. He just wanted to win and go home.
In the doc Bye Bye Barry, they told a story about how Barry Sanders only needed a few yards to break some record in high school and he just was like "nahhhh, I'm good" and subbed himself out
