I'm pretty sure that the general public doesn't even know of the person that the Dems are gonna run, if that makes sense. @mc_brew said something a couple of months back, I'm sure in sarcasm, that really resonated with me, something along the lines of "yes, the Dems are going to go out and find the absolute perfect candidate that everybody is absolutely in love with, and checks all the boxes". Obviously that person is not in the public eye right now, but I bet he/she is out there, and they will unite the splintered dem party. The worst part is that the republikunts are fukked up out here, and ripe for destruction, but we can't stop the infighting within the dem party to seize on it. I like Harris, a lot, but I agree that this backwards a$$ country will never elect a black woman, not even Oprah, at least not for the next 30-40 years, I hope I'm wrong, I pray I'm wrong, but obviously this country does not elect folks based on their merit.
