That's the thing. You need a Trump, to beat a Trump. Morality doesn't win elections these days, populism does. Newsome is a handsome, well spoken, savy politician. There's literally no one else in the DNC like him.

I gotta disagree. The only right wing smears that are effective enough to the electorate that may vote dem are southern strategy end economics. If progressives wanna pick apart her Syria history and stand on moral purity to not vote for her that's thier call. I compare this to HRC and Benghazi. Benghazi was not the straw that broke the camels back with HRC for Independent or Dem voters. I highly doubt Syria will have any effect beyond what Benghazi did for HRC.
